Black Lives Matter Plaza - June 13

It is time for Action.

George Floyd and each individual who has been murdered by policy remind us, as W.E.B. DuBois said “A system cannot fail those it was never meant to protect.”

It is time that we move beyond simple rhetoric and demand change. Our students are only limited by the opportunities that we provide them. Our school systems should be the great equalizer. It is time the inequities and the opportunity gaps are eliminated.
