This course will focus on the research and instructional practices of educators (Pre-K-12) effectively planning, creating, and utilizing Canvas LMS (Learning Management System), MS 365 Teams, MS 365 OneNote, MS 365 Sway, MS 365 SharePoint, MS 365 Forms, and MS 365 Stream for instruction, student learning, and assessment. It will provide Teachers opportunities to implement best practices in hybrid and/or distance learning. Additional educational technology included is Nearpod, Playposit, Flipgrid, Flocabulary, and creating instructional videos. The course content is aligned to the DCPS Four Pillars of Hybrid Learning, social-emotional learning, and the Trauma-Responsive Schools Model Core 4. ISTE Student Standards will also be applied.
Participants may earn 45 PLUs or 3 graduate credits from Trinity University.
