Note:

  • WTU Bylaws Amendments were unanimously passed on June 9th, 2026 to add an Area Vice President of Multi-Lingual Learners and an Area Vice President of Early Childhood Educators to the WTU Executive Board with the following Provisos of transition: 
  1. Upon passage, the VP of multilingual learner and early childhood seats will be considered vacant for the remaining term of the currently elected WTU Executive Board (SY26-28).
  2. For the initial vacancies only, the WTU Executive Board will nominate candidates by majority vote and then bring to the next WTU Membership or WTU Representative Assembly for approval.
    • Approval will require a majority vote by those present and eligible to vote.
  3. All future vacancies and elections will follow the WTU Constitution & Bylaws
  4. Make all title change corrections in the bylaws to be consistent:
    • Delete all “General” from “General Vice President”
    • “Recording” from “Recording Secretary”
    • References to 6 Area Vice Presidents
