WTU Rep Assembly

The WTU Representative Assembly

Meets 2nd Tuesday of Each Month (Calendar)

What is the purpose of the WTU Rep Assembly?

The WTU Representative Assembly is the governing body of the Washington Teachers Union. They set the policies the union should follow - from what stances we should take on important issues, to what we should focus our time and efforts organizing around.

Who can participate & vote in the WTU Rep Assembly?

Each school site (and other functional chapters) elects a WTU Building Representative + a number of Delegates based on the size of their school (more members = more delegates). While WTU Members may attend a Rep Assembly, only Reps and Delegates may participate in the debate, propose motions and vote.
