As we head into Spring Break, we hope that you are able to take some time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with the people and activities that fill you back up. You’ve been showing up for your students and school communities every day, and you deserve this moment to breathe.
The WTU office will remain open throughout the break, so if you need support or want to meet with a specific staff member, please feel free to reach out and schedule an appointment directly.
We encourage you to stay engaged by joining our committee meetings after the break, supporting our endorsed candidates as they continue their campaigns, and sharing your thoughts with our Communications Team on how we can keep improving how we serve you.

As we prepare for Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4–8, 2026), we’re collecting stories that highlight the incredible work educators do every day. Share your appreciation story with us so we can celebrate and uplift the teachers who make a difference across DCPS.
|
We are gathering member feedback to strengthen our communications, and would love to hear directly from you about what’s working, what’s not, and what you’d like to see more of. If you’re open to a quick 15‑minute conversation, virtual or in person, just share a day and time that works for you so we can connect.
