We’re calling on every school community to join us in WTU Works to the Rule this Friday, May 1. This action is a reminder of the countless extra hours educators give every day—and an opportunity to stand together in solidarity by committing, just for one day, to work only the hours we are paid for. We know every school’s circumstances are different, so we encourage you to participate in whatever way makes sense for your building.
Your school's WTU Building Rep should have received a small packet with flyers to be shared with colleagues, and electronic versions of all materials are available on our website. Take a moment to review the resources, spread the word, and help us show the collective strength of DC educators this May Day.
