WTU Leave Banks Update:
Starting in September, WTU members will be able to donate to both the Parental and Sick Leave Banks via PeopleSoft — with a goal of each member donating at least 8 hours per bank to ensure access to 60 days annually for all. Stay tuned for official messaging from DCPS and visit our WTU Leave Banks page for more information.

Energy Policy Bargaining Begins

WTU has officially invoked effects bargaining with DCPS over the new Energy Policy, urging that enforcement — especially the removal of “banned” items — be paused until negotiations are complete. DCPS has acknowledged our position, and bargaining is scheduled to begin on September 4, 2025. Read the full memo and share with your school administrator and members to ensure everyone is informed.
