DC Council Performance Oversight Hearing on DCPS Thursday, February 27th | 10:00 AM (Virtual) Testifying before the DC City Council is one of the most impactful actions you can take to ensure leaders understand what teachers need most. 3. Day of Action Planning Meeting Thursday, February 27th | 4:30 PM (Virtual) Trump’s proposed budget cuts threaten education and healthcare funding. Join us as we prepare for our Day of Action on March 4th, mobilizing against attacks on education, immigration, DEI, Home Rule, LGBTQ rights, and democracy. Register here to participate.

At 10 am this Thursday, February 27th, there will be a DC Council Performance Oversight Hearing on DCPS. You will be able to testify virtually.

Virtual Session for WTU International Teachers

At 4:30 pm tomorrow, Tuesday, February 25th, the WTU will be hosting a virtual informational session with attorney Nicole Dillard for WTU's international teachers with an H1-B visa. If you are a WTU international teacher with an H1-B visa, you will be able to join the meeting by clicking here.

New Collective Bargaining Agreement

We are happy to announce that the new five-year Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between WTU and DCPS is now available electronically on our website. If you would like an electronic copy of the CBA, you may do so by clicking here. Printed copies of the CBA will be available as soon as possible.
