We'd like to thank everyone who attended the 2023 Shared Vision Conference this weekend.

We had many great sessions, all for professional learning credits, as well as a great conversation with many of our city's elected leaders. Our special thanks to AFT President Randi Weingarten for sharing her insights into the challenges the WTU has faced and our exciting path forward! We recognize that the retirement session continues to be popular and we plan to hold an additional virtual session in the coming weeks.

Petitions are due by 5pm Friday April 28, 2023. The official Elections notice and petitions are below:

Petitions may be dropped off or mailed to the WTU Office at 1239 Pennsylvania Ave SE Washington, DC 20003. More information will be shared in next week's brew about the petition submission process. We want to ensure that all dues paying WTU members can exercise their right to vote.
