Description
This course will focus on the research and instructional practices of educators (Pre-K-12) effectively planning, creating, and utilizing Google Classroom (Learning Management System), MS 365 Teams, MS 365 OneNote, MS 365 Sway, MS 365 SharePoint, MS 365 Forms, and MS 365 Stream for instruction, student learning, and assessment. It will provide teachers opportunities to implement best practices in face to face, hybrid and/or distance learning. Additional educational technology included is Seesaw, Edpuzzle, Kahoot, Screencast-o-Matic, Vimeo Playposit, and Flipgrid will be used to create meaningful learning activities as well as creating instructional videos. Students will also be tasked with applying for a technology grant that will provide teachers additional resources to enhance their instruction. The course content is aligned to the DCPS Four Pillars of Hybrid Learning, social emotional learning, and the Trauma- Responsive Schools Model Core 4. ISTE Student Standards will also be applied.
Participants may earn 45 PLU’s.
